INSTRUCTION FOR  USE OF CEDEMEX

To support for drug addiction treatment of the opiates group in the community

Name of Medicine: ^Rx CEDEMEX 500 mg (Prescription drug)

Composition: Cedemex Extract 500 mg contains:

DOSAGE FORM AND PRESENTATION: 

Hard Capsules, 10 capsules / blister, 18 blisters/ Duplex box

INDICATIONS: To support treatment of opiates drug addition.

for giving up process of those patients addicted the opiates group (Persons who are addicted to drug of Opiates group - Opium,Heroin,Morphine,etc)

CONTRA-INDICATION: in the following cases:

-          Addicts suffering from diseases in critical period, such as : pneumonia, infection etc…

-     Addicts suffering from critical diseases at final stages, such as like: cirrhosis, cancer and HIV/AIDS…

  -     If you are not sure of anything, it is essential that you ask your doctor for advice.

SPECIAL WARNINGS: when use for pregnant, breast-feeding women.

EFFECTS: Treatment of biological and mental opiates dependence for patients with opiates addiction.

Undesirable effect: No case of poisoning and unwanted effects has been recorded.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE: Allowable dosage is 1.2 gram of Cedemex/1 kg of body weight/24 hours

Dosages:

1.      Intensive dosage in 5 days:

Take the medicne orally with water.

1^st day: 40 capsules in 5 – 8 times

2^nd day: 40 capsules in 5 – 8 times

3^rd day: 40 capsules in 5 – 8 times

4^th day: 30 capsules in 3 - 5 times

5^th day: 30 capsules in 3 - 5 times

2.      Maintenance dosage: From 6^th day to end of 6 month: 10 capsules per day, in 2 times

PRECAUTIONS: use away from meals to increase the absorption and effectiveness of medicine.

Overdose: The prescribed doasge is only 1/20-30 of the allowable dosage, thus it is safe for patients

      Reaction :

            In the treatment, the patient shall not

- use Methadone, Seduxel and another drug such as Opizoic, Tecpin Codein...

            - use alhocolic drinks.

CAUTION:   -  Keep out of reach of children.

                     -  Read instructions carefully before use.

                     - Inform your doctor any of the unwanted effects you encounter during treatment course .                                           

                     - For further information, please refer to your doctor.

STANDARD: Manufacturer’s Standards

STORAGE: Store in a cool and dry place, at room temperature below 30⁰C

EXPIRY: 24 months from the manufacturing date.
