Radiner is a non-government organization operating in scientific and technological area, which is as a member of Federation of Vietnamese Associations of Science and Technology, licensed by the Ministry of Science and Technology in the license number A-218 dated 15/1/2002 with the following missions:
Carrying out scientific researches on medical material resources and their applications in preventing and curing critical diseases.
Preparing and manufacturing on trial basis different kinds of medicines based on research results and application of new technologies for preventing and curing critical diseases; applying new and high technologies in medical area for preventing and curing critical diseases.
Providing scientific and technological services such as: information, consultancy, organizing scientific conferences and workshops, providing technical training courses in medical materials.
Radiner is the first scientific and technological organization in Vietnam operating in a closed circle, which ranges from research to manufacture and treatment, in order to improve management effectiveness and proactivity in researching and applying research results.
In the past 8 years, supported by government authorities, cooperating with national and international research institutes, and together with 13 professors, PhDs in medical and pharmaceutical areas in the Scientific Council, Radiner was appointed by the Ministry of Science and Technology to host 02 scientific research projects at the national level, to coordinate with China in 01 scientific research project within the framework of 5th-term Protocol between Vietnam and China and to implement 01 manufacturing project at the national level. Radiner would like to introduce hereinafter some medical products researched and manufactured by us:
A. Cedemex:
Is the result of the national-level scientific research project, which was accepted and evaluated by the National Scientific Council: “ Cedemex proves to be highly safe and effective in assisting drug detoxification, which can stabilize many symptoms of detoxification syndrome, especially paraesthesiae and drug hunger symptoms…Compared with tranquilizer, Cedemex shows better effects, having statistical meaning P< 0,05”
Cedemex was investigated on how it effects drug detoxification in China.
Research result of Cedemex effects in detoxification of morphine addicted animals in China has shown that:
+Cedemex prevents the disappearance of neurons, which is critical for Cedemex to take effects on abatement.
+Cedemex is able to rehabilitate the content of β- endorphin in hypothalamus and pituitary, stabilize Dopamine content in such areas as hypothalamus, pituitary, VTA of the morphine addicted animals. That these mental substances are rehabilitated will enable detoxification at the molecular level.
+ Through Conditional Position Preference model, Cedemex shall help to resist mental reliance (good ability to prevent re-addiction)
CEDEMEX was issued Patent No. 1017 dated 9/9/1999, Product Label Register Certificate No. 28564 dated 28/10/1998 by the Vietnam National Intellectual Property Department. CEDEMEX has registered for international label protection in WIPO as the Certificate No. 876766 dated 16/03/2006. Cedemex was rewarded gold medal for safe pharmaceutical products in the Eastern and International Medical Exhibition in 2006.
More than 30.000 people addicted to drug and addictive substances (in the form of OPIATES) in Detoxification Centers in Son La, Lai chau, Hoa Binh, Lạng Son, Hung Yen, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang …have taken Cedemex. As reported by these centers to Radiner, and examined by the Inspection Department, Treatment Department of Ministry of Health, Anti-Social Evils Department of Ministry of Labour Invalids and Social Affairs, it is confirmed that Cedemex has high safety and effects on drug detoxification. This means Cedemex has overcome problems faced by other detoxification medicines in the market, because apart from being safe, non-addictive, having no side-effects, bringing tender abatement, Cedemex can also eliminate the causes of physiological addiction (hunger for drug) but also psychological addiction (mental reliance on drug)
CEDEMEX was allowed by the Ministry of Health to be sold to families and community according to Decision 2406/QĐ-BYT by Ministry of Health dated 2/7//2008.
B. Vegakiss.
Is a supplementary medicine to treatment of HIV/AIDS, made up from herbal plants and manufactured in an advanced and closed production line. VEGAKISS is the result of a national scientific research project hosted and implemented by RADINER.
Vegakiss was issued Patent No. 5863 dated 7/9/2006, Product Label Register Certificate No. 56542 dated 23/8/2004.
Vegakiss was accepted in the first stage by the Scientific Council of Ministry of Health with the conclusion: safe for use, causing no side effects with the dosages of 3 tablets per day in consecutive three months taken by 20 normal volunteers. Vegakiss has fulfilled its second-stage evaluation of effects and safety, including comparison with ARV treatment plan provided by the Ministry of Health which uses chemical medicines in AIDS/HIV treatment. Compared with chemical medicines, Vegakiss made in Vietnam shows no difference in immune system improvement and HIVs development restriction ability. On top of that, Vegakiss does not cause any side effects with the designated dosage and at the same time helps with patients’ rehabilitation and provides good opportunistic infection resistance ability. The third phase of the research project will start in 2011 experimenting on 150 HIV/AIDS patients, then will be evaluated for acceptance and replication in the community.
The research project was also concluded in a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology and the USA in order to enable further researches on effects of Vegakiss in HIV/AIDS treatment.
C. Kacimex : is a medicine used for treatment of tumors, made up from herbal plants, which takes effects on restriction and annihilation of benign and malignant tumors (metrofibroma, brain tumors, prostate gland tumors, liver cancer, lung cancer, and so on). The medicine is safe and non-toxic. Kacimex was issued Product Label Register Certificate No. 54598. Experimental research on Kacimex by Clinical Pharmacology Institute of Nanning Medical University in China showed that Kacimex takes good effects on malignant tumors at cell level, especially on liver cancer and stomach cancer. In practice a number of patients with critical diseases (liver cancer, stomach cancer…) were saved or their lives were lasted longer.
Radiner is now the owner of the 02 companies below:
1. Guilin Pharmaceutical single-member Company Limited
A manufacturer of medicines specially used for treating such critical diseases as drug detoxification medicine, HIV/AIDS treatment medicine, benign and malignant tumors treatment, which then contributes to national scientific research projects…
A factory satisfying GMP-WHO standard will be built by the Company in Phu Thi Industrial Zone, Gia Lam District, Hanoi in 2010-2011, with capacity of 100-200 millions hard capsules/year in order to meet demands for Cedemex in prevention and treatment of drug detoxification in Social – Labour Education Centers and in the community according to Decision 2406/QĐ-BYT by Ministry of Health dated 2/7/2008.
2. New Hope Hospital
The hospital was established with the aim to apply new and high technologies in medical area, to treat benign and malignant tumors with Gamma knife and linear accelerator. The operation of the hospital was permitted by the Ministry of Health in the license no. 35/CN Đ ĐKHNY dated 26/1/2009. From 3/2009 to 12/2009, 75 operations of cranial nervous pathology using gamma knives were done, post-operational patients showed good results.
Development orientation in 2010 – 2015
With closed model from research to manufacture until treatment, in the recent time Radiner has had encouraging achievements in scientific researches, especially a breakthrough in researching medicines to cure critical diseases which are being concerned by the whole world like Cedemex used for drug detoxification in order to meet demands for treatment both inside and outside the country. Both RADINER and Guilin Pharmaceutical Company will need financial supports to build the GMP-WHO factory with capacity of 100-200 millions hard capsules/year. We will also establish a laboratory of national and international standard so as to bridge the gaps existing in researching medicines derives from herbal plants in Vietnam. Radiner beside cooperating with Russian Natural Sciences Academy, will expand its collaboration with other institutes and medical universities in the world to research medicines for other critical diseases such as H5N1 flu, cirrhosis…New Hope hospital will also be extended to 100-200 beds, more equipment will be procured, staff will be deeply technically trained abroad in order to make the hospital an Asia and world class one, which will contribute more and better to the community’s healthcare.
Radiner and its subsidiaries expect to receive supports and attention from international non-government organizations, either in form of grants or credits so that we could complete the above products and implement our development plans in 2010—2015 in order to contribute more and better to the community’s healthcare in Vietnam and the world.
